Last week it was the first Brazilian Championship and it was very well organised by our federation.

We had seven tasks: fast, slow, slalom, navigation with precision time, triagulo with economic fuel, take off and landing with precision.

I won six of seven tasks! I was flying miniplane with APCO THRUST HP S, I had the supremacy over all pilots. Thank you Diego!

Later I will send some pictures of the championship

Bariri City (são Paulo Countryside) sky  was even more colorful on October 24th, 25th and 26th due to the presence of 28 pilots, coming from all over Brazil. They were taking part of the First Brazilian Paramotor Championship. An ABPM’s initiative.

The event helped define a new Brazilian Rank and the pilots who will represent Brazil in the 2009 World Championship.

It was a two-day-competition that evaluated the pilots’ techniques, navigation skills, speed and fuel consumption. The champion was Marcelo Menin, followed by  Marcos Aurélio Altoé and Marcio Aitá Junior.

Some of the pilots had problems with their equipment and ended up leaving the competition before the last round. Some other candidates gave up due to the difficulty of the last tests that were in accordance to the International Norms of FAI - Féderátion Aéronautique Internationale.

According to the Organization taking into consideration that this was the first Paramotor Championship in Brazil, it was a real hit. No accidents happened and the technical levels were high standard.

Na annual Competitio calendar is being defined for next year when the 1st Paramotor South American Championship will happen. There will be teams from Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and Venezuela.

Finally we flew a target and a task of the navigation.

I made a big mistake without a clock and a map.
However, a DUDEK user did his best.

Look at a homepage of JPMA in detail.
But it is a homepage only for Japanese....

Best regards,
